Still Aware – WINDS

Community Role

Still Aware is a national not‑for‑profit focused on reducing preventable stillbirth through education, awareness campaigns, and evidence‑based resources for expectant parents and health professionals. The organisation works to empower families with practical knowledge about safe pregnancy practices, early warning signs, and how to advocate for their own care. Its WINDS program (Women’s Information Network for Development and Support) extends this mission by providing community‑based education and support initiatives that strengthen maternal health and family wellbeing.

Connection to Big Yellow Umbrella

Big Yellow Umbrella supports families across the Macarthur region, including expectant parents and new mothers who benefit from accessible, community‑based information and support. The WINDS program aligns closely with BYU’s focus on early intervention, family wellbeing, and strengthening community knowledge around health and safety.
